Disposable nappies are up there with the worst of them.

Not only do they hang around for so long but they also make it seem acceptable to package up human poo to throw in the bin. Where it doesn’t magically disappear. It won’t even magically disappear for another 500 years, like after our great great great great great great grandchildren have been and gone. The petrochemical parts won’t break down. Ever.

A single use item, and it’s here forever.

How long does it take to decompose?
