Australian Nappy Association: Managing Growth with a VA

As most business owners will attest, there comes a time when you just can’t do it all on your own. You realise that your time is not necessarily best spent “doing it all” and you have to figure out a way to manage the growth of your company.

That time has come for the Australian Nappy Association.

We are delighted to announce that the ANA has recently engaged the services of a virtual assistant.

Until now, the ANA has predominantly been run entirely by volunteers (industry and supporter members), so it was time to outsource some of the administration duties that we were struggling to keep up with. With the help of a virtual assistant (VA), we will be able to maintain vital channels of communication with members and parents.

This allows ANA members to do what only they can do:

Empower Australian cloth nappy businesses to introduce more families to the many benefits of reusable nappies.

Please join us in welcoming Mel Smith of Bookkeeping Covered to our team.Australian Nappy Association: Managing Growth with a VA

Mel Smith spent five years making and selling modern cloth nappies before becoming a virtual assistant in 2013. She now helps small business owners manage their bookkeeping, websites, and other admin tasks. She lives in Adelaide with her husband, two boys and two cats.

Mel sends a really useful newsletter each week and has a frequently updated blog where she shares lots of helpful resources and tips for running a business.

If you own a handmade business, or are thinking about starting one, Mel has a new resource coming out soon that you’ll particularly love. Click here to find out when her eBook launches.

Built on the work and passion of locally-owned cloth nappy businesses, the Australian Nappy Association proudly supports other small businesses, such as Mel’s.

And we’re here to support you too.
