This week, we meet ANA Supporter Member and owner of Cloth Inspired, Bethany.

Tell us about your background. What did you do in your past life, before children? Before cloth nappies!

I have a few diplomas behind me in event/hospitality management and floristry.

I have worked in hospitality since I was 17 and ran restaurants/events prior to becoming a mum!

Tell us about your journey into the cloth nappy industry.

I fell in love with cloth the second time around after seeing the amount of disposables used with my first. A little way in, I found WAHM made and the rest is history!

How has the cloth nappy industry changed since you started your business?

Cloth was so sought after when I first started, and now it seems more common. The market has certainly changed since I first began, and things have fluctuated with the cost of living etc.

What is the hardest thing about running your own business?

The cost of living and interest hikes have definitely made it hard to start and grow a small business. People aren’t spending at the moment and that’s hard for most small businesses!

What is the best thing about running your own businesses?

Being able to be home and not have to leave my littlest loves to do it. I get to do what I want, my way

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given?

Just dive in! Some tasks seem mammoth until you begin. Once in, it’s a different perspective!

What’s something you’d like your kids to remember about you?

My love for them and our family.

Tell us your favourite quote or saying.

Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don’t matter and those that matter don’t mind!

Thank you Bethany for letting us know a little bit about you and check out Cloth Inspired located in Broke Hunter Valley NSW!
